Asim Munir will know my pain if his son is killed: Father of Navy officer killed in J&K
The news of a Navy officer’s death in a terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, sent shockwaves across the country. Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, who was on a leave, was killed in a terror attack on a bus carrying tourists in Pahalgam. The incident has left his family, particularly his father Rajesh, in a state of trauma and grief.
In an emotional and poignant interview, Rajesh, Vinay’s father, spoke about the pain and trauma his family is going through due to his son’s death. He also took a dig at Pakistan army chief General Asim Munir, saying that he would understand the pain only when his own son or daughter is killed in a similar attack.
Rajesh, a resident of Chandigarh, said that his family is still trying to come to terms with the loss of their loved one. “It’s been four days since Vinay’s death, but it feels like an eternity. We are still trying to process the news. Vinay was our everything, and his sudden departure has left a huge void in our lives,” he said.
The grieving father also spoke about the trauma his family is going through due to Vinay’s death. “We are all struggling to cope with the loss. My wife is not eating, my daughter is not studying, and my son is not playing. We are all lost in our own world, trying to come to terms with the fact that Vinay is no more,” he said.
Rajesh also reacted strongly to General Asim Munir’s statement on the recent terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. General Munir had said that Pakistan wants peace and stability in the region, but India’s actions are creating hurdles in achieving that goal. Rajesh took a strong exception to the statement, saying that General Munir should understand the pain of losing a loved one in a terror attack.
“If I were given a gun to shoot his son or daughter, then he’d know the pain. He’ll understand my pain the day his son or daughter will be killed similarly. But till then, he can keep talking about peace and stability, but it’s all hollow,” Rajesh said.
Rajesh’s outburst is a reflection of the deep-seated anger and frustration that many Indians feel towards Pakistan and its army. The recent terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir have left many Indians feeling helpless and angry, and Rajesh’s words are a manifestation of that anger.
However, Rajesh also spoke about the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region. “We want peace and stability in the region, but it’s not possible without Pakistan taking concrete steps to stop terror attacks. Pakistan needs to understand that terrorism is a global issue, and it’s not limited to just one country,” he said.
Rajesh also praised the Indian armed forces for their bravery and sacrifices. “The Indian armed forces are the bravest and most dedicated forces in the world. They are fighting for our country, and we are proud of them. They are the ones who are giving their lives for our country, and we can only pay our respects to them,” he said.
The news of Lieutenant Vinay Narwal’s death has sent shockwaves across the country, and his family is still trying to come to terms with the loss. Rajesh’s emotional outburst is a reflection of the pain and trauma that many Indian families are going through due to terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.
As India mourns the loss of Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, it is essential to remember the sacrifices of our armed forces and the pain and trauma that their families go through. It is also essential to take concrete steps to stop terror attacks and maintain peace and stability in the region.
