In an effort to promote innovation and cybersecurity awareness in India, Kaspersky, a leading global cybersecurity company, has partnered with the Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), Bengaluru, MAHE, to launch HackSky, a 48-hour on-campus hackathon. This two-day event, taking place from 29th to 30th July 2025, is open to tech students, young cybersecurity professionals, and cybersecurity enthusiasts from across India. It will be hosted at the MIT Bengaluru campus.
The HackSky hackathon aims to bring together talented individuals to develop innovative solutions to real-world cybersecurity challenges. Participants will have the opportunity to work on projects that address various aspects of cybersecurity, including threat detection, incident response, and digital identity protection. The event will provide a platform for students and young professionals to showcase their skills, learn from industry experts, and network with peers.

The hackathon will feature a series of challenges, each designed to test participants’ skills in different areas of cybersecurity. The challenges will be judged by a panel of industry experts, who will evaluate the solutions based on their creativity, feasibility, and potential impact. The winners will receive prizes and recognition, as well as an opportunity to work with Kaspersky and MIT Bengaluru on future projects.
