We’ll Try & Win IPL 2025 Final for Kohli: RCB Captain Patidar
As the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Rajat Patidar prepares to lead his team in the IPL 2025 final against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Tuesday, he has made it clear that his team’s goal is to win the tournament for none other than the legendary Virat Kohli. Kohli, who has been a stalwart for both India and RCB, has had a phenomenal career, and Patidar is determined to make this IPL 2025 final a memorable one for the former captain.
“We will try and win this for Virat Kohli,” Patidar said in a pre-match press conference. “Kohli has done so well for India and RCB over the years. He has been an incredible player and a true leader. We want to make this IPL 2025 final a special one for him.”
Patidar, who is the fourth captain after Anil Kumble, Daniel Vettori, and Virat Kohli to lead RCB in the IPL final, is well aware of the enormity of the task ahead. However, he remains confident that his team has the skills and the experience to come out on top.
“We have a good balance in our team, and we have been playing well in the last few matches,” Patidar said. “We have a strong batting line-up, and our bowlers have been doing a great job. We are confident that we can win this match.”
Patidar’s words of praise for Kohli are well-deserved. Kohli has been a dominant force in world cricket for over a decade, and his record in the IPL is second to none. He has scored over 6,000 runs in the tournament at an average of over 40, and has also led RCB to the playoffs on several occasions.
Kohli may not be leading RCB in the IPL 2025 final, but his presence is still felt in the team. Patidar, who has been mentored by Kohli, has spoken highly of his former captain, and has credited him with helping him improve his game.
“Virat has been an incredible mentor for me,” Patidar said. “He has helped me a lot, and I owe a lot of my success to him. He has been a true leader, and I have learned a lot from him.”
Patidar’s words have also been echoed by other RCB players, who have spoken highly of Kohli’s leadership qualities and his ability to motivate his teammates.
“Virat is a true leader, and he has always been supportive of his teammates,” said RCB opener Devdutt Padikkal. “He has a great ability to motivate us, and he has always been willing to listen to us and take our feedback.”
RCB’s leg-spinner, Wanindu Hasaranga, also praised Kohli’s leadership, saying that he has been a huge influence on the team’s success.
“Virat is a great leader, and he has been instrumental in our success,” Hasaranga said. “He has a great ability to read the game, and he has always been willing to take risks. He has been a huge influence on me, and I have learned a lot from him.”
As RCB prepares to face PBKS in the IPL 2025 final, Patidar is determined to make this match a memorable one for Kohli. With his team in good form and a strong squad, he is confident that they can come out on top and bring home the title.
“We will give it our all and try to win this match for Virat Kohli,” Patidar said. “We want to make him proud, and we want to bring home the title for him.”
As the IPL 2025 final approaches, all eyes will be on RCB and PBKS, and Patidar’s words of praise for Kohli are sure to inspire his team to give their best. With Kohli’s legacy at stake, RCB will be determined to make this match a memorable one, and Patidar is confident that they can do just that.
