Title: Without PM Modi & CM Nitish, Bihar can’t progress: Dy CM Samrat
As the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) marks 11 years of its rule at the Centre, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav’s counterpart in the state government, Renu Devi’s deputy, Samrat Choudhary, has credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for the significant development the state has witnessed during their tenure. In an exclusive interview, Samrat Choudhary emphasized that without the leadership of PM Modi and CM Nitish, Bihar would not have been able to progress.
Samrat Choudhary, who is also the Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, stated that the NDA government has contributed around ₹15 lakh crore to the state’s development. He stressed that this massive investment has not only transformed Bihar’s infrastructure but also brought about a significant improvement in the lives of its citizens.
Speaking to the media, Samrat Choudhary said, “PM has contributed around ₹15 lakh crore to Bihar’s development. Without them, Bihar can’t progress. Because political opportunists are waiting to grab power again.” He added, “I challenge LoPs (Leader of Oppositions) to say development hasn’t taken place.”
Samrat Choudhary’s statement comes at a time when the opposition is trying to capitalize on the issues plaguing the state, including the recent floods and the alleged poor handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the Deputy Chief Minister’s remarks are a clear indication that the NDA government is confident about its achievements and is not willing to let the opposition dictate the narrative.
The Bihar Deputy Chief Minister’s claims about the massive investment by the NDA government are indeed impressive. The state has witnessed significant development in various sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, education, and tourism. The government’s flagship programs, such as the ‘Samastipur-Vijaypur-Raxaul railway line’ and the ‘Muzaffarpur-Bapudm Motihari railway line’, have not only connected the state to the rest of the country but have also created employment opportunities for the locals.
Moreover, the NDA government’s focus on healthcare has led to the establishment of several world-class hospitals and medical colleges in the state. The government’s efforts to improve the education sector have also resulted in the establishment of several new universities and colleges, which have helped to increase the literacy rate and provide better educational opportunities to the youth.
Samrat Choudhary’s statement is also a clear indication that the NDA government is aware of the challenges it faces in the state. The government knows that the opposition is waiting to pounce on any opportunity to criticize its handling of issues, and therefore, Samrat Choudhary’s challenge to the Leader of Oppositions is a way of saying that the NDA government is confident about its achievements and is not willing to let the opposition dictate the narrative.
In conclusion, Samrat Choudhary’s statement is a clear indication that the NDA government is confident about its achievements in Bihar. The government’s focus on development has indeed brought about significant changes in the state, and it is clear that without the leadership of PM Modi and CM Nitish, Bihar would not have been able to progress. As the state gears up for the upcoming elections, it will be interesting to see how the opposition responds to Samrat Choudhary’s challenge and whether they can successfully counter the NDA government’s development claims.
