Title: Without PM Modi & CM Nitish, Bihar can’t progress: Dy CM Samrat
As the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) marked its 11th year in power at the Centre, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, better known as Tejashwi Yadav, credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for the state’s development. In an exclusive interview, Samrat Choudhary, the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, highlighted the significant contributions made by the PM and the CM, stating that without their leadership, Bihar would not be able to progress.
Samrat Choudhary, who is also the Minister of Health and Family Welfare, stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has contributed significantly to Bihar’s development. “PM has contributed around ₹15 lakh crore to Bihar’s development,” he said, adding that this amount has helped in the construction of roads, bridges, and other infrastructure projects. Choudhary further emphasized that without the leadership of PM Modi and CM Nitish Kumar, Bihar would not be able to grow and progress.
The Deputy Chief Minister also took a dig at the Opposition parties, saying that they are waiting for an opportunity to grab power again. “Without them, Bihar can’t progress…because political opportunists are waiting to grab power again,” he said. This statement is seen as a veiled attack on the opposition parties, which have been criticizing the NDA government for its alleged mismanagement and corruption.
Samrat Choudhary also challenged the Leader of Opposition (LoP) to deny the development that has taken place in Bihar during the NDA rule. “I challenge LoPs to say development hasn’t taken place,” he said, emphasizing that Bihar has made significant progress in various sectors, including education, healthcare, and infrastructure.
The Deputy Chief Minister’s statement comes at a time when the NDA government is celebrating its 11th year in power at the Centre. The government has been touting its achievements, including the implementation of various welfare schemes and the construction of infrastructure projects.
Bihar has seen significant development under the NDA rule, with the state’s GDP growing from ₹3.5 lakh crore in 2014 to ₹10.5 lakh crore in 2022. The state has also seen a significant increase in healthcare infrastructure, with the number of hospitals and healthcare facilities increasing manifold.
The Deputy Chief Minister’s statement has been seen as a blow to the opposition parties, which have been criticizing the NDA government for its alleged mismanagement and corruption. The opposition parties have been demanding accountability from the government, but the Deputy Chief Minister’s statement suggests that the government is confident of its achievements.
In conclusion, Samrat Choudhary’s statement highlights the significant contributions made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to Bihar’s development. The Deputy Chief Minister’s challenge to the Leader of Opposition to deny the development that has taken place in Bihar also suggests that the government is confident of its achievements. As Bihar looks forward to the future, it is clear that the state’s progress will depend on the continued leadership of PM Modi and CM Nitish Kumar.
