The exam is a crucial step in the process of admissions to law schools in Telangana. Candidates who clear the exam will be eligible to participate in the counseling process, where they will be allocated seats in their preferred colleges. The counseling process is expected to begin shortly after the declaration of the exam results.
The registration process for the TG LAWCET began on May 6 and ended on May 25. Candidates who had registered for the exam had to pay a fee of Rs 350, which includes the cost of the exam and the application processing fee. The admit cards for the exam were available for download from the official website of the Osmania University from May 30.

With more and more students opting for law as a career, the competition for seats in top law schools has increased significantly. The TG LAWCET provides a level playing field for all candidates, allowing them to compete on an equal footing.
In recent years, the TG LAWCET has seen a significant increase in the number of applicants. In 2020, the exam saw 43,615 applicants, while in 2019, the number was 39,415. The increase in applicants can be attributed to the growing popularity of law education, as well as the increasing awareness about the importance of a law degree in today’s competitive job market.
The success of the TG LAWCET is a result of the efforts of the Osmania University and the TSCHE, which have worked tirelessly to ensure that the exam is conducted in a fair and transparent manner. The exam has become a benchmark for law education in Telangana, and its results are highly respected by law schools and employers across the state.
In conclusion, the TG LAWCET is an important exam for students who want to pursue a career in law. With over 57,000 applicants this year, the competition is expected to be fierce, and only the best candidates will be able to secure admission to the top law schools in the state.
