Chacha Nitish in Unconscious State, Unable to Manage Bihar: Tejashwi
The political landscape of Bihar has been witnessing a tumultuous period in recent times, with the ruling coalition government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar facing severe criticism from the opposition. The latest barb has been hurled by RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, who has gone public with a scathing attack on the Nitish government, claiming that the Chief Minister is in an “unconscious” state and unable to manage the state of Bihar.
Yadav, who is also the leader of the opposition in the state assembly, made these remarks while addressing a rally in Patna, the capital city of Bihar. He alleged that under the Nitish government, Bihar has become a lawless state where crimes like rape and other heinous offenses are committed in broad daylight, but the government is powerless to take any action against the perpetrators.
“It’s a fact that under the Nitish government, Bihar has become a state where crimes like rape and murder are committed in broad daylight. But the government doesn’t take any action against anyone. This is a clear indication that the Chief Minister is in an unconscious state and unable to manage the state,” Yadav said, according to news reports.
The RJD leader also took aim at the Nitish government’s alleged corruption, claiming that bribery has become a “tradition” under his rule. “The Nitish government has made bribery a tradition. Everyone knows that if you have to get anything done, you have to pay bribes,” Yadav alleged.
Yadav’s outburst comes at a time when Bihar is reeling under a wave of crime and lawlessness. The state has witnessed a series of high-profile crimes, including a spate of murders, rapes, and robberies, which have left the citizens feeling insecure and anxious.
The Nitish government has been facing severe criticism for its handling of the law and order situation in the state. The opposition parties, including the RJD, have been demanding the resignation of the Chief Minister, alleging that he is unable to provide a sense of security to the people of the state.
The JD(U), the ruling party in Bihar, has been defending the Nitish government’s handling of the law and order situation, claiming that the state is one of the safest in the country. However, the opposition parties have disputed these claims, citing the recent surge in crimes as evidence of the government’s failure to provide adequate security to the people.
Tejashwi Yadav’s remarks are likely to spark a fresh controversy in the political circles of Bihar, with the ruling party likely to take strong exception to his comments. However, the RJD leader’s attack on the Nitish government’s handling of law and order is likely to resonate with the people of the state, many of whom are feeling frustrated and disillusioned with the government’s inability to provide a sense of security.
It remains to be seen how the Nitish government responds to Yadav’s allegations, but one thing is clear – the political temperature in Bihar is likely to remain high in the coming days, with the opposition parties stepping up their attack on the ruling government.
